Developing the “E-Series II”
Tenor Saxophones

When we started to develop the “E-Series II” Tenor Saxophones Kenny insisted on one think. Make it the best we can.

Bore Design:
I used the bore of the “G-Series II” tenor saxophones. It has great intonation, great response and an outstanding tone color. this is a professional tenor saxophone priced so everyone can afford to play the best.

Key Design:
Kenny likes the traditional round pearl on the harmonic key and the fork or trill F-sharp keys. So I made the keys using this design.

Finishes:
Again like the “E-Series II” sopranos and altos I chose the Dark Gold Lacquer and we still offer the Black Nickel Body with Silver Plated Keys and the Silver Plated Body and Keys models.

Case:
The case is a light weight durable Cordura case featuring both shoulder and back pack straps.

This is a great tenor that will perform in any musical situation or any type of music.

Stock Mouthpiece:
All the Kenny G Saxophones come with a outstanding mouthpiece.
Brass Ring
This mouthpiece features a brass ring around the bottom of the shank for both strength and vibration.
Top Screw Ligature
The top screw ligature provided is designed for the best possible vibration of the reed.
Top Screw Cap
The cap is a very light weight plastic. the light design helps prevent damage to the mouthpiece in the event it makes contact with the tip of the mouthpiece.
